Handcrafted from Beginning to End: Between ethical beekeepers and informed shoppers, you will find us hand-crafting our unique beeswax candles. After our own inspection of the wax for purity, we manufacture our own sheets, and from these sheets we hand-roll our famous beeswax candles! Every step of the way, our artisans passionately pursue excellence in the art of candle making! Beeswax candles are the finest, and have always been the connoisseur's choice. The Naturally Sweet Honey Aroma of our beeswax candles fills the air even though we add no fragrance. The aroma occurs naturally within the hive where honey bees make the wax and use it to build the combs to store the honey they extract from the blossoms of flowering plants. The slight aroma of honey remains in the wax and fills the air while the candle is burning. Long-burning, Clean-burning: Beeswax naturally burns longer without chemical additives, making our candles cost-effective. Beeswax candles are non-allergenic and recommended by the American Lung Association. Un-scented beeswax is best for those with allergies or sensitivities to scents. Beeswax candles are virtually dripless when trimmed correctly and burned in a draft-free environment. We Are Bee-Friendly. Our 100% pure beeswax candles are bee-friendly. Our ethical beekeepers truly love their bees! We are in the middle of bee territory here in the geographical center of the continent (in the Midwest prairies). The entire process that produces our wax is entirely renewable and bee-friendly. Bees Wax Candles Are Eco-Friendly. Compared to all other candles and waxes (including soy, palm, and paraffin), beeswax is the purest, requires almost no agricultural land, and is used in its native state. We process our beeswax mechanically (without additives, bleach, and/or hydrogenation). You can tell by the light creamy color of our prairie/Midwest beeswax that the quality of our wax and our processing is the absolute purest. Bees Wax Candles Have a Beautiful Warm Amber Glow that is the closest in color to natural sunlight (compared to any other type of candle). There is nothing quite like the warm amber glow of a 100% pure beeswax candle. Traditional Folk Lore states that burning beeswax stimulates the pituitary gland, increasing intuition and creativity, and heightening dream activity. Some say that burning a beeswax candle before bed helps them to achieve a more restful sleep. Bees Wax Candles Purify the Air. Beeswax candles have long been known for their air purifying effects and can greatly reduce dust and other allergens in your home. Burning 100% pure beeswax candles can help improve indoor air quality by producing negative ions that have the same effect as some houseplants.
